Product and Brand Films in St. Louis
Cinematic product films and brand films for luxury goods and the brands that make them. Light painting in motion, controlled reflections, and studio product motion shot with the same care as the object itself. Produced from a St. Louis studio, and shot anywhere in the country.
Product motion is a discipline, not a click. The hardest subjects, polished metal, faceted stones, fired enamel, glass, and mirror-finished machines, reward controlled light and patience and punish shortcuts. We build product and brand films around that principle. Some products are shaped by light painted across hundreds of exposures. Others come alive in cinematic macro, where a slow move across a surface reveals the craftsmanship a still cannot. The work grows out of a luxury product studio in St. Louis, so the motion carries the same detail, reflection control, and finish as the stills. Local brands book on-site or in studio. Clients beyond the metro ship their products in for the same treatment.

Product Films We Have Shot
Cinematic light painting in motion. Real light shaped by hand across hundreds of exposures, not a filter and not a render.

Light Painting in Motion
When a product is too large or too reflective for a single take, we light paint it. The subject is lit and sculpted by hand across hundreds of individual exposures, each one adding a layer of controlled light, then composited and moved through time on screen. It is not a filter and it is not an AI render. It is real light, shaped over time, revealing depth and dimension a flat shot cannot. We have light painted a Porsche GTS and a Steinway Model D grand piano this way, and the same method brings out motorcycles, instruments, and other large or mirror-finished products in motion.
- Lit by hand across hundreds of individual exposures
- Each pass shapes one area: body, surface, detail, reflections
- Composited and set in motion with full tonal control
- Real light, not a filter or an AI render

Built on a Luxury Product Studio
The motion work grows out of a product studio built for high-craft detail. We photographed the Michel Perchin Majesty collection, a limited edition with only twenty-five of each colorway ever made, hand-set with diamonds and finished in fired enamel and gold guilloche. We lit a PlayStation 5 DualSense to hold its color shift and contour against a pure black field. The same controlled lighting, macro coverage, and reflection management that produce those stills carry straight into product motion, so a brand film built for luxury goods reads as rich and dimensional rather than flat.

Product Motion for Catalog and Launch
A product film does not have to be a large-format spectacle. Cinematic macro brings out the value of a single hero product: a slow move across a surface, a rack of focus onto an engraving, a reveal that holds up at any size. We deliver product motion vertical for social and horizontal for web, so one shoot feeds a launch page, a storefront, and a campaign. The studio that handles a one-of-a-kind piece handles a full product line, with a repeatable setup that keeps a catalog of clips looking like they belong to the same brand.
- Cinematic macro on hero products and fine detail
- Vertical for social and horizontal for web from one shoot
- Repeatable setups for catalog and campaign consistency
- Color grading and finish that match the stills

Produced in St. Louis, Shot Anywhere
Our studio sits in the St. Louis metro, serving brands and makers in Clayton, Chesterfield, Ladue, Creve Coeur, Kirkwood, Webster Groves, and St. Charles. For oversized equipment, vehicles, or in-facility needs we work on location across the metro and anywhere in the country. For anything that fits in a box, the studio is the cleanest, most controlled option. Clients beyond the area ship their products in, we film the full set in one session, and ship everything back, insured and carefully handled, often within the week. If you are searching for a commercial videographer in St. Louis for a product film or a brand film, that is exactly what we do.

Why Brands Choose This Work
Real Light, Not a Render
Light painting in motion is built from hundreds of hand-lit exposures of your actual product. It reads as depth and craft, not a filter or an AI approximation.
Reflections Under Control
Polished metal, enamel, and glass are the hardest things to film well. Deliberate diffusion and staging give you rich, consistent surfaces in motion instead of glare and hot spots.
Stills and Motion From One Studio
The same controlled setup that produces your product stills produces the film, so the two match in detail, color, and finish across your whole launch.
Vertical and Horizontal, Ready to Post
You leave with cuts sized for social and for web, so a single production day feeds a storefront, a launch page, and a campaign.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a product or brand film cost?
Pricing depends on the product, the level of finish, and whether you need stills alongside the film, so we quote each project rather than posting a flat rate. Day rates start in the four-figure range. A single hero product in cinematic macro is a very different scope than a light-painted vehicle or a full brand film. Send a short description of the product and where the film will live, and we come back with a production plan, deliverables, and an investment range, usually within one business day.
Can I ship my product to you?
Yes. A large share of product work arrives by mail. You ship your product to the St. Louis studio, we film it in one organized session, then pack and ship it back, insured and carefully handled, usually within the week. You receive the same controlled lighting and finish as a local client, with a proofing gallery to review before final delivery. For fragile, valuable, or one-of-a-kind pieces, we confirm handling and return logistics with you in advance.
Do you travel to shoot on location?
Yes. Vehicles, oversized equipment, installations, and in-facility products are filmed on location across the St. Louis metro and anywhere in the country. For anything that fits in a box, the studio is the cleanest and most controlled option, but when the product cannot come to us, we bring the setup to the product.
What is light painting in a product film?
Light painting means the product is lit by hand across hundreds of individual exposures, each one shaping a single area of the subject, then composited and set in motion. It is how we filmed a Porsche GTS and a Steinway Model D grand piano. It is real light shaped over time, which is why it reveals depth and dimension that a single flat take cannot. It is not a filter and it is not an AI render.
Are you a commercial videographer in St. Louis?
Yes. Our product studio is based in the St. Louis metro, and we produce cinematic product video and brand films for brands, makers, and marketing teams across Clayton, Chesterfield, Ladue, Creve Coeur, Kirkwood, Webster Groves, and St. Charles. Most product work happens in the studio, where the light is fully controlled, and for vehicles, oversized equipment, or in-facility needs we film on location.
