Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis Children's Hospital, and the Siteman Cancer Center form a cluster of world-class institutions within a few blocks of each other. Thousands of physicians, residents, nurses, researchers, and administrative staff work in this corridor every day. Beyond the medical campus, Euclid Avenue runs north through a strip of restaurants, boutiques, and ground-floor offices where therapists, dentists, and independent practitioners see clients. Maryland Plaza anchors the neighborhood's social life with its distinctive fountain and surrounding storefronts. Forest Park borders the CWE to the south and west, giving the area a character that mixes urban density with open green space. Our studio sits just south of the park, making the CWE one of our closest and most-visited service areas. We know the buildings, the parking, and the conference rooms where we can set up without disrupting patient flow.

The healthcare ecosystem here is massive. BJC HealthCare is the region's largest employer, and Washington University School of Medicine consistently ranks among the top research institutions in the country. That means a constant rotation of faculty, fellows, residents, and new hires who all need professional portraits. Department websites, physician directories, research publication bios, and hospital marketing materials all demand current, high-quality headshots. Outside the hospital system, the CWE is home to a growing number of private practices in psychiatry, dermatology, physical therapy, and dentistry. These smaller offices need the same caliber of imagery but on a different scale. The neighborhood also draws non-medical professionals: architects, nonprofit leaders, and creative agencies who chose the CWE for its walkability and proximity to Forest Park.
