Rosemont is a village of a few thousand residents holding the headquarters of US Foods, the second largest foodservice distributor in the country, and Reyes Holdings, one of the largest privately held companies in America. Culligan and Wintrust are here too. The office stock is concentrated: the Riverway complex puts three buildings at 6133 North River Road and 9377 and 9399 West Higgins Road, all remodeled within the last few years, with the amenity base in the 6133 lobby. The whole submarket, which takes in Des Plaines, Park Ridge, Mount Prospect and Schiller Park alongside Rosemont, is the smallest of the suburban markets and has been the best performing of them by vacancy.
What makes this district genuinely different is not the buildings, it is the geography. The CTA Blue Line stops here. The Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, the Rosemont Theatre and the Parkway Bank Park entertainment district are all within walking distance of each other, and O'Hare is minutes away.
