Corporate photography at River Point

River Point is a fifty two story tower of 730 feet at 444 West Lake Street, standing on the West Loop riverfront near the confluence of the Chicago River. It was the tallest building west of the river until 150 North Riverside took that title later in 2017. The two towers now read as a pair from the Loop side of the water, and the neighbor is the global headquarters of Hyatt Hotels, which consolidated around a thousand colleagues there out of two separate buildings. River Point itself is a professional services address on one of the more open sites downtown, with water and river bridges on the east side rather than another tower wall.

McDermott Will & Schulte, the firm formerly known as McDermott Will & Emery, has its Chicago office here. Next door at 150 North Riverside, Hyatt Hotels runs its global headquarters with roughly a thousand colleagues brought together from two buildings. The character of this stretch of riverfront is therefore large law and corporate headquarters work. If your team is in this building, expect a portrait brief written to a firm standard, with partners, associates and business staff all held to one consistent set.

Sessions run on your own floor in a conference room of about eight by ten feet with a power outlet. Firm programs here tend to be long lists rather than small ones, so the schedule matters more than the setup: fifteen minute slots, a printed running order and a room people can reach easily. Loading is through the building dock, and the hours and freight elevator booking should be confirmed with building management once the date is set. An east facing room on a high floor will look over the river, which is worth asking for when you choose one.
