Corporate photography at Corporate Woods

Corporate Woods is a twenty nine building office park of a little over two point one million square feet, laid out at 110th Street where US 69 meets Antioch Road. It first opened in 1975 and has been the Kansas side's default corporate address since. The sixteen story tower at its center is the largest multi tenant office building in Overland Park. A joint venture of Geosam Capital and Group RMC has filed a preliminary application to redevelop the park with retail, housing, dining and trails while keeping it an employment hub, but that application is a proposal and has not been built, so the park a team walks into today is the one that has stood there for decades.

Corporate Woods is a multi tenant park rather than one company's campus, and with twenty nine buildings under a single ownership the roster turns over continually. No single firm gives the address its character. In practice that means a production day here often covers two or three unrelated companies in neighboring buildings, each with its own brand standard, and the schedule is built to keep them separate while the setup stays in one place.

The one thing worth settling early is which door. In a park of twenty nine buildings the right service entrance is not always the one nearest the front, so we confirm the building, the parking and the elevator with your office manager the week before. Suburban floor plates like these usually give more daylight than a downtown floor, which changes how the portraits are lit and generally for the better. A conference room of roughly eight by ten feet with a power outlet is all the space a session needs.
