Corporate photography at Woodfield Corporate Center

Woodfield Corporate Center is the pair of Class A buildings at 425 and 475 North Martingale Road, a little over seven hundred thousand square feet between them, sitting at the full I-290 and Higgins Road interchange immediately south of Woodfield Mall. It is the core of what locals call the Golden Corridor, the I-90 business belt that makes Schaumburg the largest office market in suburban Chicago. The mall and the Streets of Woodfield next door carry more than three hundred retailers, which is why the buildings market themselves on amenity as much as on address.

The tenant base, as the leasing agents describe it, runs across technology and telecommunications, insurance, logistics and transportation, and manufacturing. That is a wider mix than most single-purpose corporate campuses, and it means a program here can involve two or three unrelated companies sharing one production day.

The practical side is straightforward. Structured parking, a proper loading route, and floor plates large enough that most tenants have a conference room with a window wall. The daylight in these buildings is better than in most downtown floors, which changes how the portraits are lit and usually for the better. The interchange location means a team driving in from Hoffman Estates, Rolling Meadows or Elk Grove is fifteen minutes away rather than an hour.
